The short version
Your birth details are used to compute your result and are not sold, shared, or used to build a profile of you. Preferences (theme, language) live in your own browser. Like most free websites, we show ads via Google AdSense, which uses cookies.
What we collect and why
- Birth details (date, time, place, optional name) — processed to compute your Rashi, Nakshatra, Kundli or muhurat result. Names you choose to save to the community name collection are stored without any link to your identity.
- Place lookups — your typed city is resolved to coordinates using our geocoder and OpenStreetMap data. If you tap "Use My Location", your browser asks for permission first; the coordinates are used once for the calculation.
- Preferences — theme, language and similar settings are stored in your browser's localStorage, not on our servers.
- Payments — paid PDF reports are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details; see Razorpay's own privacy policy.
Advertising & cookies
We use Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or learn more at How Google uses advertising cookies.

AstroNames is a general-audience website about baby names and astrology; it is intended to be used by parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
